Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Scuro Mattina (or Dark Morning in Italian) is a fierce little dragon. Born from the cooling lava and ash from a thought to be extinct volcano, this little dragon was thought to wreak havok. That was until it was trapped in an egg by a local fisherman who abandoned her in cave. The egg was later found by me and hatched. Scuro Mattina has since been brought up to be good.
