Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite being as black as outer space, it has a few bright patterns on it.

And look! It has grown wings and its scales have gained beautiful patterns. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Joy Dreamer is a hatchling that was once forced to be with another dragon who she didn't like. She would always complain about how he would act cold to her but her parents wouldn't listen. So she planed to run away from her group of dragons and find some other dragon that would love her. Soon when she matured she ran away to the jungle escaping her group of dragons. After weeks of running hiding and hunting she finally met another male hatchling like her. They talked for a while and soon she discovered that he was taken in by a human when his parents left him. She was taken to this human named Souleaterlover by the young male. She happily took a liking to Souleaterlover and decided to stay with her. Soon the little dragon got tired of growing and decided she no longer wanted to grow any more. When her owner found this out she decided to help her to stop and cased a spell on the young dragon. This made JoyDreamer happy and now to forever she will stay with her loving owner.
