Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This Magi-Dragon was thought to be a Gold at first, but when the egg was brought into the light, it was shown that it was just a Magi. His owner didn't want the dragon, but didn't want to killabandon any dragons, either. So, as soon as he hatched, the Principal of the Sanitorium cast the Icy-Dawn spell, to freeze him from growing at all. He was then named "Meer Annoyance," which may seem mean at first, but he doesn't seem to mind. Meer is the only Frozen-Dragon that still lives in the Sanitorium, because the others have already left this life.
