Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

RyouRoseCutie is an adorable young Pink Dragon hatchling. She hasn't yet developed wings, but longs to fly. Sometimes she can convince her parents, RyouAlbinoCutie and FlamingRoseMoon, to carry her while they fly; she doesn't get to tag along because her father is very lazy and her mother is very busy. RyouRoseCutie's mom makes potions and salves all day, except when she is treating a patient or gathering ingredients. RyouRoseCutie gets to tag along with her mother to gather herbs, and both love this time they get together.
