Greater Spotted Drakes are found in open pine and oak forests. They are among the larger end of the spectrum, but are quite laid back and feed mostly on plant material. They are ambush predators and rely on their dappled markings for camouflage. Females are usually larger than males, though males are brighter in color. In the breeding season the male attracts a mate by making loud, low-pitched bugles, followed by an aerial courtship dance as proof of his quality as a father to her offspring.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

The most serious of his siblings. Red (which is his simplest nickname) stresses order, communication, and reliability in his familial unit. He has a complex with being the one in charge, especially since he is a middle child. He'll often chastise his brothers' behavior and actions, both Lucky's boisterous nature and Bouncy's more playful one, so there tends to be turmoil between them. Red does care deeply for his siblings and is always around to protect them in case, but they tend to see that as even more irritating. Unlike Lucky, who prefers hunting his meals as opposed to foraging for them, and Bouncy, who is a pure-hearted vegan, Red has a pretty even diet. He prefers plant matter to live meat, but isn't opposed to hunting. In fact, he's really good at it, often taking hints from Lucky on how to do it properly. It's the one activity the two can legitimately bond over, at least until Lucky goes overboard and tries to kill small dragons for food.
