When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Well, he's overall a sweet, gentle boy who somehow, to the amazement of the other Apprentices, becomes a leash for Xigbar's more grim or ruthless instincts and urges. Think of him as the little kid holding the leash to the massive rottweiler. ; He loves everyone until proven otherwise, and is more than willing to trust people and think the best of them. He likes coming up with nicknames for the people around him, (Xiggy, Zexy, Luxy, Marly, Vexy...notice a pattern) and while he's not exactly on par with Vexen's intelligence, he is eager to learn and is one of the very few people who would sit and listen. He's just cute, sweet, and a total morality chain for Xigbar.
