Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Lafayen is a curious dragon who isn't very smart. Like all Ochredrakes, he doesn't rank that high in intelligence, but he does pretty well in all the other areas. Lafayen is pretty speedy and can easily catch a rabbit to snack on when on the go. He will travel far and wide, exploring different places and often revisiting the ones he already did, thinking that it was a new place. His memory isn't that great either. Lafayen doesn't understand battles, so the other dragons try to keep him out of them because he often doesn't know which side to fight for. But, he is sweet and will welcome people and other dragons into his cave for company.
