Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It must be very shy since it keeps hiding from you.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

KILLA OF DEATH is a favorite among the nesting female dragons. He often comes around the less aggressive nesting females and snuggles up under them with their eggs.

It's such a cute thing that they just can't bear to tell him to leave. All except the flamingo wyverns, of course, who affectionately call him "Lunch" while giving him a gentle pat that sends him flying across the cave.
