Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Amongst warriors are found that kind of verses that inspire bravery; nay, by such chanting itself they divine the success of the approaching fight, as Tacitus wrote. One of the most popular stories is the story of Boudicca, the legendary Queen, who defeated the Roman invaders. For according to the different din of the battle she urged furiously, or shrank timorously. Nor does what she utter, so much seem to be singing as the voice and exertion of valour.

The Hunkypunks, how other Nocturnal dragons are apt to believe, derive their original from gargoyle-like figures carved by the most skilled warlocks and mages to keep the spirit of a hero or a king in safety. They chiefly study a tone fierce and harsh, with a broken and unequal murmur. The Hunkypunk of Boudicca is younger than her fellow ancient Old King Cole, yet still she appears to be the symbol of nobility, valour and virtue.
