Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
A plump deer saunters past, and the emaciated vine snarls in frustration. She wrenches her vines left and right, but she only manages to tighten the knots embedded in the tendrils since birth. Her yellow eyes follow the deer as it grazes casually just within her range, knowing she is no threat. A string of drool drips from her mouth. If she could rid herself of these tangles, she would have a feast.
Suddenly, another tendril shoots out from the periphery of her vision, snatching the deer away. She cries out in anguish as her would-be meal disappears from sight. Minutes later, the tendril returns with a tiny scrap of meat, and the dragon growls. As if she could expect anything else from her generous, tangle-free clanmates besides entrails.
