Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Some dragons are natural born, but others are made in mysterious ways. Enki came from the darkness of a lone heart. As the darkness grew, so did his power, and molded to the shape of a dragon to match this power. Enki is wise, but uses his persuasion and battle-hungry power to attack, much like most black dragons. However, he is out of reach, locked in the dark of a lone heart, rarely allowed to escape. But when he does, he often causes chaos. Though, his destruction is equal to the strength of murder-hungry black dragons. He and Raine, the innocent, pure, heart keeper dragon, fight for control of the heart.
