Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"We need more fruit," this dragon can be heard saying. "More fruit. More fruit." Apparently, Tropical Ornaments believes that passion fruit can be used as ornaments. However, they never last long, as the hungry animals often get to their sweet, ripe goodness. Still, this hasn't stopped Tropical Ornaments from importing loads of tropical fruit from passing trade caravans and experimenting to see how they can be preserved and kept safe. Many dragons shake their heads in dismay when they hear about his fruit decoration pursuits, but they merely write him off as eccentric and foolhardy. And as if that weren't enough, a gang of mischievous pygmies are constantly undoing the protective spells he puts on the fruit, or merely stealing them for a delicious feast, free of charge. But what they don't know is that Tropical Ornaments has got some tricks up his sleeve. The next time they bite into a passion fruit, those pygmies are going to end up with some severe stomachaches or worse...
