Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Energy humming in air, it was the war of the forest dragons. This war was not one of force but one of convincing with words. On one side the north and west forest dragons had joined forces. The east and south forest dragons had also joined each other in battle. On the west and north side a female dragon gave birth to the King of the forest dragons. For she was queen of the west dragons. Her mate was king of the west dragons,a handsome, couragous, strong dragon, and so was his son. The queen smiled as she saw how much he looked like his father. Then she knew she had to hide and leave him for this battle was to dangerous to care for him. She hid him and left. He grew up and grew stronger. By then no one knew of where his mother and father went. He then joined in battle. He had a plan. He sneaked over to the east and south dragon campsite and convinced their kings and queens to give up. They then admitted they were defeated and slunk back to their forests. It is then that he became king.
