Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Some say Makali'i had been born in the Hawai'i night sky as a mirrored image of a particular constellation that rests in the Milky Way galaxy. To the Hawaiians of old, this constellation was named Kawa-o-Makali'i; the precipice of Makali'i. Many folks often see the Nebula gliding on the air even during still winds, marveling at his beautiful markings of the exalted constellation. It was a common rumor that Makali'i visited certain deified rulers on the night that the constellation shone brightest on a moonless night. Upon his visits, he would bestow upon them his knowledge of the past deified rulers- their mistakes, their successes, and the voices of their people. He would visit those who had trouble in their community, and from then on led them to their avail through their trials. To this day, many leaders pray and exercise rituals to call upon Makali'i for help, and Makali'i never fails to answer their calls on the same moonless night when Kawa-o-Makali'i shines brightest.
