Ptera is regarded as female due to her feminine build and mannerisms, but she really isn't either male or female. She loves to fly over the sea and catch fish with her beak, and she's remarkably good at it, though she must be careful to avoid sharks in the open ocean. Most of her day is spent flying over the sea looking for food and searching for other Dinos like herself, but they are very few and far between.
