Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kira is one of the best hunters in the clan and is responsible for supplying meat to those who can not hunt for themselves, such as the hatchlings and those on guard duty. Flying out at night, she may follow her prey for miles until she has a clear shot. Quick and agile, most of her kills feel nothing as she seizes them and delivers the fatal blow.<br/>Though Kira normally preys on animals, she has been known to pounce upon humans who stray out late at night. The only warning they receive about their inevitable demise are her bright green eyes soaring through the darkness towards them. <br/>Her antics have upset many of the local human populaces, who have sworn to exact revenge. However, Kira is a formidable warrior who easily fights off the human soldiers and mercenaries sent to slay her. Her magical prowess allows her to slip unnoticed into the shadows and attack at her leisure as well as creating illusions to bewilder and terrify her opponents.
