Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Coesa, as she prefers to be called, has a rather peculiar problem. One which is sort of embarrassing for a Dark Green to have. She cannot sustain her Dragon Grass, a vital adaptation her species adopted millennia ago, for more than a few months.
It all stems back to her great grandfather Sounds. Hes cursed with bouts of potent magic which frequently hurts not only him but nearly everyone else. Ever since, his get have been cursed with varying degrees of powerful magic.
Dark Greens are not designed to be able to possess even normal magic, so Coesa's works as the ultimate herbicide. It affects nothing else. She resorts to other means of feeding herself: trapping and her mate Dierbe.
Hes been searching for a means to rid her of the unwanted magic or at least controlling it. His scope is limited: if it doesn't involve plants, he won't look into it. Hes technical and highly unromantic, but she can't help but love the only dragon who has ever tried to rid her of her pesky problem.
