Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Nightpetal is a quiet, sweet Sunset dragoness whose favorite hobby is gardening. She specializes in plants and flowers that bloom in the evening hours when her breed is most active. Even though she's shy, she loves talking to and inviting visitors to her garden as long as they take care not to tread upon her delicate blooms. Recently there has been a rash of pranks going through the cave where a sleeping victim has awoken to find themselves covered in heaps of flower petals, though no further evidence has been found that can identify the culprit. They say it's usually the quiet ones that one needs to watch out for...
