Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As his breed suggests, he never stops moving. Alacrity will not even stop for an obstacle in his path, he'll just veer around it. His tail is slightly longer than others of his breed, which often makes his tamer worry whether or not he is going to get it caught on something. Alacrity loves to hunt small quarry like mice and voles, but shies away from the larger kills his cave mates tend to drag in. He gets along best with Citroulle Jaune and Diamonda Minor, probably due to his small size.
