Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Frerin was so named by the dwarves because he's one of those dragons. He likes caves--yes, precious--and shiny bits. Seriously. You could wrap up celery in tin foil and he'd probably eat it. He isn't a complete dolt, however; he is very clever with numbers and accounts and has a spreadsheet detailing his horde, just in case insurance adjustors ever have need of it.
