Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonbeam Angel is in charge of taking care of the hatchlings in the cave where her and the others reside, and she does her job well. She acts as a sort of mentor to Flurry Starbrink, believing that even though he's a Vampire, he can still serve the clan well. Her kind demeanor and beauty has earned her the respect of many of the other dragons in the clan.
