Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Genji Shimada is rather idealistic and tolerant, for a mysterious Vampire dragon. It's rumored that he had a violent confrontation with his brother, and through occult magics or the intervention of some divine gods, was turned into a Vampire dragon as a result. Although it's common knowledge—at least, in the rumor, it is—that it was really his brother's fault that he was turned into the being he is now, Genji says that he forgives him, and that it was all for the best, and for a future that nobody can yet see.

Although the entire rumor is discounted by the fact that Vampires can only really be created by biting eggs, Genji has learned to simply accept the rumor, and frequently spreads the word that he's learned to accept his Vampire form not as a burden, but as a gift. He wanders the world, looking to find his lost brother as well as a purpose in his long-lasting Vampire life.
