As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Chewa is a lone dragon who spends most of her days playing around. She is curious and likes making new friends. She isn't very selfish and is hardly mean. Sometimes she will get too curious and will actually fly into human areas and see what they're doing. If she is seen sometimes humans will scream "Bat!" But Chewa is'nt a bat at all. One time a little boy saw her and gave her food. She can never forget that day. Chewa hopes to maybe be part of a clan one day and even though Chewa is grown up, she still always acts like a hacthling.
