Avatars of Destruction possess a volatile disposition. They thrive on chaos and decay, and their horns and plated scales are as hard as forged metal. Because of their affinity with darkness and the destructive forces of nature, it was once thought that these dragons were omens of ill fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"Filia Necem" is the dubious honorific bestowed by the Father onto this dragon, and it means "Daughter of Slaughter". Her mother, the master illusionist the Second Shell, bewitched her form in order to lay with the Father without his realizing, and in doing so she produced this dragon. She all but abandoned her, though, present in form only as she spent many a day and night toying with her own daughter. Ensnared by illusions, her mind nearly broke under the weight of her own tortured upbringing. She spent most of her time simply destroying things in an attempt to affect some modicum of free will on her own life.

Luckily, she is now under the care of her hatcher, who spends most of his time with her simply proving that he isn't an illusion. However, he hopes to make enough progress with her that her destructive urges can be kept under control.
