Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems shy, but loves attention.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Adoring is just one of those hatchlings that's impossible not to love. Even the most vicious vine or voracious vampire will have their heart melted by Adoring's adorable antics. She gambols around the cave as if the only purpose of life is to have fun, and her sweet, innocent nature allows her to back out of trouble and get along with other dragons. On the extremely rare chance that a dragon growls or snaps at her, though, she'll retreat into a timid, uncertain mood and spend the next day or so hiding.
