Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Chalk Stars is one of the elders on Dragon Isle. He came from the mainland, where he once lived with his kind human owner; said owner decided to set him free, and he stumbled upon the isle while searching for a new home and took a liking to it. Dragon Isle is now his permanent home.
Chalk is a wise dragon that rarely speaks. He resides in the peaks of mountains, where he slumbers for months at a time. When Kelasia or another elder comes to chat, he wakes with a mighty yawn that shakes the land. They usually speak about the island and how it is doing, and sometimes he goes off into tales of his younger years. Nobody really minds listening to his stories, though, as they are filled with excitement and wonder.
Most creatures are frightened by him and his large, intimidating size. He is harmless, though, and much more patient in his old age. However, if Chalk is angered he is quite a terrifying sight. It is probably best to stay on good terms with him.
