Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This is Dreaming Wind, a kind dragon that wouldn't hurt a human or other dragon. She was left at the entrance of the cave to die but her current owner, Wolf warrior, took Dreaming Wind in under her wing. When she hatched she saw three hatchlings nearby, two on the ground and one flying. The other hatchlings and Dreaming Wind played together a lot. Dreaming Wind soon grew wings and so did her friends except for one, which then had two sets of wings. She was the only girl so she sometimes played with them because she was maturing. She grew up after Storm Strider. Her owner liked flying with her a lot, she also likes flying with her friends. Soon she found the love of her life. Wind Soarer grew up not that long after her and they became mates and had children.
