Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Encouraged by his Mageia heritage to think in big dimensions, Mayax always works on pushing the limits of what's possible with the help of magic. As one of the senior students he hopes to impress with his thesis regarding long-range telepathy. His current experiments are very promising and he is pretty sure that he actually made contact with a Nhiostrife dragon living beyond the lands of the clan as part of a remote community. Now—the things he reads from 'Sandero' are very scrambled and Mayax is sure not even half of it can be true—faceless old dragonesses are impossible after all. His own attempts to send have only been semi-successful as well as apparently his thoughts get reversed to a very obscure form of old draconic none of the Nhiostrifes are familiar with.

He is sure in time he will be able to overcome those difficulties though.
