When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aqua Ryu Arashi is named after the substance that she makes her home in. She chose a large lake in the middle of a deep mountain valley to nest in. The lake is filled with huge amounts of fish and other wildlife that Aqua can feast on, and its large enough to contain her huge size without a problem.
Having no legs, only small flipper-like remains of legs, Aqua never leaves the water that is her home. She can breathe underwater, as well as control water to some degree. Her lair is deep in the lake, made in a vast cavern that had been eaten away by the once fast moving river that used to flow through the valley.

Aqua has no permanent mate yet, but she will allow others to court her if they are strong and dashing enough. She is impressed by black dragons especially, and has had a clutch of eggs to one just recently.
