Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Like with the egg, time feels inconsistent around this hatchling.

And look! It has gotten bigger! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little Aeon dragoness had her abilities to glance into timelines and interpret meaning out of them develop relatively early. Unlike her adult brothers and sisters, she never bought into the whole non-interference rule, a sign that she lacks the wisdom that comes with age mayhaps.

But when Seeri first saw what would happen if little Glimpse was ever allowed to grow up—the power her little sister would hold and the catastrophe she would inevitably stumble into, destroying so much in the process... Seeri couldn't allow that to happen.

She made sure Glimpse would never grow up by choosing a time and a place where she would be hit with a non-aging spell by one of the students of Delirium's Academy. Seeri herself was hit as well but it was a price she was more than willing to pay to protect the world and Glimpse herself from what would happen otherwise.
