Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A warmonger, Kuroe often joins Tatenoryuu on her mercenary excursions, and sells out his services to armies (usually human armies, since dragons rarely wage war). Compared to most of his kind, Kuroe is not very physically powerful (though he is still stronger than many adult dragons of less battle-keen breeds), but his increased magical abilities seem to make up for this. This might be due to the fact that, at one point in time, he ran into and then was raised by a rather reclusive, shy and yet powerful Magi dragon. Fortunately, unlike his teacher (who struggles to control his overflowing magical powers), Kuroe has great control over his lesser magical abilities and has become a rather confident and proficient magic-user.

On a side note, he does have the unfortunate quirk of trying to kidnap princesses from time to time (just for the fun of being chased by angry mobs of humans), which has landed him in all sorts of trouble, much to the amusement of his peers.
