Finally, after much feeding, the baby has grown into a full Dino! Dinos can eat almost anything, including things with spikes. In order to do so, they must have very tough stomachs. Green Dinos are the only type of Dino that is able to walk on two legs. This frees up their front two legs, which they use to catch and eat fish.

Even though Dinos are not dragons, Shield Tail, Dark Drakon, and their herd view their kind as their distant evolutionary cousins. For this reason, they allow a band of Dinos to live on their island, where they are free to feed on the vegetation that grows there. All the Dinos that live alongside Shield Tail and Dark Drakon's herd bear the title of 'Cousin' as part of their names, to honor their relationship to the dragons, which is why this particular Dino is called Cousin Ornithopod.

Cousin Ornithopod is a very odd Dino, who seems to enjoy being different. He is usually seen walking backwards all over the island, and when he and the other Dinos are feeding, not only will he actually try and get one of their Dragon cousins to breathe fire on his fish in order to have the meat cooked, but he will also attempt to cook the leaves the other Dinos want to eat as well. If his Dino friends are exasperated with his strange behavior, however, they show no indication of it.
