Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Onyxez ShadowGuard (after the gemstone: Onyx) was adopted into the clan cave as its 225th member and serves the clan as its strongest and most fervent night time guard and protector. While his clan mates rest and sleep, he patrols the darkened heavens with an almost reckless abandon, forgoing any and all personal considerations to ensure a constant and unparalleled security and peace. He can be ruthless when the situation demands it, but most of the time he is coarse, but fair. The clan elders are uncertain what inspired his vigorous sense of responsibility to the safety of others, but they are thankful for it and as such, he is afforded a great amount of respect and honor from all his brethren. He is, without a doubt, the shadow within the darkness who none can see nor hear, but always know is there. During the daylight hours, he spends his time honing his magical skills and mentoring the younglings in the ways of combat, only taking the briefest of breaks for rest and sustenance.
