Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Clan Venata does not generally house small wyverns, for they cannot as easily be tracked or be sent off to win wars in their chief Lupus Imperatoris's name. Seragammas like Crier Jackie are a relatively recent exception, as their stubbornness in occupying Venata holds has led to some degree of cooperation.
Jackie is a first-rate courier and a sly snitch, an unapologetic, known part of Huntmaster Avispa del Montanas' scout and spy network. Due to her very public position the information she carries is generally arbitrary or of low strategic value, but she carries it proudly, swiftly, and under the protection of claws that do not hesitate to slice and snatch.
