Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Love Twister is one of Phoenix's dragons. Holding a particular place in Phoenix's heart, she enjoys a certain respect among the dragons -- not because of her age, knowledge, breed, or the fact that she was a precious and much-desired gift to Phoenix, but because of her abilities to make others fall in love. With someone else, with her, with their scrawny immortal human keeper, anything.

It demands much respect.

Twister is a somewhat unpredictable dragon when it comes to using her powers. On a whim she may decide to cause bitter enemies to have a clutch of eggs, and then withdraw the effect of her power, causing much strife and annoyance. Her ex-mate, Imp in the Soul, was drawn to her in this manner, but she eventually released him from the spell when she grew tired of him. Her current mate, Come Closer All Ye Winged, needed no love potion to be drawn to her, and though Twister can sometimes be a bit unfaithful, he graciously puts up with her antics.
