Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems shy, but loves attention.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pinksleep LittleHope is very, very scared. Natalie Lovelysoul has taken away her ability to age and used it to curse some of the Christmas dragons with nightmarish sleep. Pinksleep wants to get away from Natalie, but is afraid that Natalie will harm her and Pinksleep can't fight back in this little body. She has very little hope of escaping Natalie's clutches, but has thought of one possible plan: Pinksleep is going to ask to play with all the other hatchlings. If she can get to the hatchlings, she knows that the pygmy dragons can't be far off. Perhaps the pygmies will have insight as to how to defend oneself against big, mean dragons. If they don't, she might have to change her name to Pinksleep Nohope.
