Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A member of The Lost Dragons, he is nothing like his doppelganger Dionaea, and though he needs meat to survive, he prefers not to harm other dragons, even when they are the only food source attainable. He can often be found very close to Dionaea, if not for the fact that they are the same breed, but Dionaea was the one who found Aldrovanda's egg and took it on himself to hatch it. Though Aldrovanda prefers not to eat other dragons, he does like to stir up trouble with the rest of the group. He often hides near a group of adult dragons and tangles his vines around their legs, resulting in a massive pile up of large agitated dragons. Not even other members of The Lost Dragons are protected from this prank, he will usually be the first of the group to return to their nesting site so that he can hide and trip up the other members when they return. When he is not causing trouble he can often be found somewhere deep conversation with either Wendy Lost or the non-violent members of the group.
