And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Stanfah is a particularly curious little dragon, and refuses to stay out of anyone's business. He's always asking questions of the other dragons, trying to glean every thought from the minds of those he shares the cave with. Almost everything that he says ends up being a question. Some of the other dragons find him incessantly irritating as a result, while others are amused at his unceasing need to know everything. He is rarely quiet unless he's asleep.
