Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Raybur has always wondered why he isn't considered to be a real dragon. He can fly and play and talk and roar just like anyone else in his cave. So maybe he smells a bit different, but there are some really terrible smelling dragons out there, and THEY get to be real! Raybur doesn't let it get to him, though. He has plenty of friends, and they don't seem to mind. And Raybur is happy, anyways! He is always playful, and he enjoys a good joke. He also likes acting like everyone's favorite uncle, teasing the hatchlings and younger dragons. For someone who isn't supposed to be a dragon, Raybur sure does fit in well.
