Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wisatawan's mate is Sireyena, a Black dragon.

"Wisatawan" means "traveler" in Indonesian.

Wis has always loved to travel, from his hatchling years to now. He decided to renamed himself (since he never liked his real name) "Wisatawan," because of his 'obsession'. He is rarely ever seen socializing with the other dragons, being so busy traveling and exploring. When he does socialize, many think of him as being a nice, but extremely crazy and weird dragon. He still has lots friends though, since they like him for his bravery. However, they do wonder how Sireyena and Wisatawan came to be (since they think Wis is strange), but assume it's from both of their 'obsessions' with traveling. Ever since they were set up by Wisatawan's friend, Ziban, a Bright-Breasted Wyvern, they go everywhere together and are deeply in love. They are usually seen planning their next adventure on rock piles or currently on their travels.
