Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Eleventh Doctor ('Eleven', as his friends know him) is known around the cave as being incredibly upbeat, always projecting an outward air of cheer and exuberance, making others laugh and lifting sad spirits. There's a strange duality to his nature, though: at times full of wild energy, at times drained and full of anxiety and despair, Eleven struggles to keep what he considers his 'failure' a secret. The eccentricity of his nature, coupled with a fierce need to keep moving, leads him to travel far and often. As such, it came as a shock to everyone when he and the Ninth Doctor (known colloquially as 'Nine') announced that they were mates.

"Nine isn't as adventurous as Eleven," some protested. "They're both male!" others cried. But the pair never lost faith, and they—somehow—made it work.
