Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When he was a hatchling, Existence Is Meaningless's mother always told him that he was destined to be a hero of the Valley of Teeth. She said she had heard this message from the Keepers of the Stars, the Valley gods and goddesses whose predictions were infallible.

Head filled high with delusions of grandeur, this male set from his birth cave to solve the Valley's problems. The dragon clans, however, didn't want outsiders meddling in their affairs. He turned from dragon to dragon, hoping to find someone in need of help, but there were none who accepted it. Slowly, he began to realize that this prophecy was either false, or that he had been lied to; he'd been betrayed by either his gods or his mother. Thus he sank into complete despair, convinced entirely that his existence was meaningless.
