Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It sleeps a lot, but when it’s awake, it’s quite a handful.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Don't Look At Me I'm Naked is very embarrassed by its lack of fur. It hopes one day that it will be able to go out in public without the shame of being completely hairless, but alas, this hatchling's desires will never become reality. No one told it it was frozen, so every day it dreams of growing voluminous layers of huggable fluff. Some of the others feel sorry for this hatchling, and one day wish to break the message to it, but no one has mustered the courage (or heartlessness) to do so.
