Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

ERMAGERD GENDERLESS is the child of two dragons named HOW DARE YOU NOT BE A GIRL and ERMAGERD A GIIIIIRL. It was found abandoned not far from the cave. From the very beginning the unmatured hatchling cried out in fear when the adult dragons discussed whether it would be a boy or a girl. They were so concerned by the hatchling's consternation over this issue that they decided to spare it the agony of perhaps being another male and cast a spell on it to stop aging before anyone could tell. Now the hatchling lives forever young, blissfully unconcerned about adult matters or what gender it might be.
