On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Magician is named after the tarot card of the same name, being an omen of action, consciousness, concentration, and personal power. Those who get a glimpse of this magical dragon will find that its long, sleek tail often points at them, acting almost like a magician's wand. The dragon will look once, twice, all around, and disappear just as quickly as it appeared, as if riding on the wings of magic. Mystified, the true meaning of The Magician's behaviour is unknown, but many speculate and no one has the true conclusion. Perhaps this mysterious wonder's ways will never be figured out, like the rest of its brethren.

The Magician can frequently be found under the sea, among large groups of other Red-Finned Dragons, as well as dwelling with the other tarot-card dragons, or spending time with his mate, XXII—The Fool.
