White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One day the black dragon warrior Ebony Nightshade brought an egg. She had found it in the snow. It was easy to spot, she said, the egg was of such a pure white that shimmered brighter than the fresh snow in the evening sun. The woman nodded, she understood what her first dragon wanted. The egg was easy to hatch. The young one, a little white dragon with eyes blue as a spring lake was now part of the family. His favorite place was next to the fire, so Whitefire they named him. He used to sleep there, listining to the crackling sounds of the wood and dreamed of distant lands, adventure and knowledge. But when he grew up he did not leave. He stayed, helped bringing up other foundlings and healed the wounds of the warrior dragons. One evening the woman brought another white egg. First it was not special, but after a little white dragon girl hatched he named her Winterwunsch and let her join him by the fireside. After her wings started to grow he realized that she was very special to him.
