Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

From a very young age, Eater of Limes displayed a fondness for the tart green fruit from which she draws her name. While the other vampire hatchlings curled up together to sleep during the day, Eater often coiled herself around whatever citrus fruit she could find. Strangely enough, when she began hunting for herself, she sank her fangs into a nearby lime instead of pouncing and drinking the blood of small animals like her friends. For weeks she would hunt for nothing except citrus fruit. She soon grew weak and realized that she would have to drink at least some blood despite her dislike for it. The other vampire dragons taught her how to hunt, and she is now one of the most successful among them. When the others aren't looking, however, she still sneaks in a few bites of lime.
