White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While Xzimeon is not the eldest dragon of the cave, he is indeed the wisest. Because of his caring nature and healing powers he has become the leader of the cave. He didn't seek to have the other dragons follow his lead, they were just drawn to his personality and unanimously agreed that he would be the best choice for a leader because of his pacifism. Though he did not necessarily want to lead he has embraced his position and directs the other dragons to each provide for their small, but growing, family using their unique talents.
