Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rock Wall Brute is a large, very aggressive male Stone dragon who tries to keep to himself. He was, when he was only a hatchling, captured and abused, used in dragon fighting, and starved. This changed him from a happy, friendly Stone dragon into a cold, aggressive beast. Because of his now incredibly heavy body, he walks very slowly and would rather lay still, and he relies on Winter Dream and Min-tee to provide him with food and water. Due to his reliance on these two females, he has slowly become less aggressive and has formed a strong bond with them. Min-tee will often come visit him, rubbing her scented skin against his lower jaw and has even been seen curling up on top of his head.
