Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Celestial Watcher is one of the main lookouts for a Mix-match group of dragons. His highly trained eyes can pick out anything that does not belong in the sky. As a hatchling he would wrestle with Lunar Scratch and Pride Screech, but when night came he would insist on watching the stars. By now he knows all the constellations by heart, thus bringing forth his name of Celestial Watcher. Most lookouts have an extra letter at the end of their name. He was assigned R for his breed, the Royal Blue dragon. Now he teaches new lookouts the "tools of the trade."
